Overview
One of our ways of developing and supporting leaders is through visits from short term teams. These teams are groups that we invite through key partnerships to come alongside us to minister and serve in the communities JAM are involved in.
The special thing about these teams is that God not only uses teams to impact the community, but the community also deeply impacts these teams. We have heard many testimonies this year of how God has impacted hearts of guests through the ministry experiences.
This year, we had many special teams visit the new leadership centre and it was amazing to use the hub for its intended purpose! We hosted a wide range of teams, from university students from Azusa Pacific University in the USA to the Foxfires Youth Team from KwaZulu-Natal. We had churches from Cape Town and Texas who visited us and even had a group of fathers and sons who shared this wonderful experience.
Whether doing work projects, children’s ministry, house visits, or many more ministries, we have seen how these willing hands are helping us achieve our vision. We are looking forward to continuing to host these teams!
