Overview
We had the incredible privilege of hosting a team from Azusa Pacific University, California, from the 3rd until the 10th of June. The goal of their time here was to partner with local surfing and skating ministries and to minister alongside them.
We worked with various organizations throughout the week. We had the privilege of surfing with the Christian Surfers in Big Bay and the 9-Mile project in Muizenberg. We also partnered with Christian Skaters in Stellenbosch and hosted a local skating outreach in Houtbay. The owner of Kingdom Boards, a business that makes personalized longboards and surfskate boards, gave us a tour of his workshop as well.
Lastly, we did children's ministry and other labor in Khayelitsha and Imizamo Yethu. We had a wonderful time with this team and we believe that God has used them to encourage these wonderful ministries as we partnered with them.
We are grateful to be able to host teams again and to see the way God can use them to strengthen us and others.
